From Mrs. L West Mersea, November 2006

Hi Sue!
Just wanted to let you know how ........ got on yesterday. Regardless of whether
or not he manages to gain a place at the grammar, I was so proud of how he
handled the whole thing, and a lot of that is down to the last year he had
with you! He wasn't nervous at all; he was prepared, calm and grown-up. We
drove up to the drop-off point; he just got out of the car (hardly
remembering to kiss me goodbye!) and, smiling, waving and clutching his
pencil case, went off with a school prefect to register with hardly a
backward glance! I was so pleased for him that he felt OK (even when we saw
one poor boy being very sick by a tree!!) and I drove off feeling a huge
sense of relief for him. I am sure that this scene wouldn't have happened
without the preparation he has had from you. I realise that for most
parents, the results of the test will be the most important thing, but for
me it was how ........ handled it!!

I wanted to let you know that although he has, of course, benefited
educationally from your classes, he has also grown in confidence. I am so
proud of all he has achieved.

Thank you so much for your support and words of wisdom; you are a great
source of inspiration and encouragement.

And from recent anonymous client satisfaction questionnaires:-

  • ............has found it a pleasure to come each week. You have always been approachable and fair.
  • ............has really blossomed in the few weeks of her tutoring. Her self-confidence has improved and her enthusiasm for learning has returned.
  • The whole 11+ programme has been effective and well-presented. My child enjoyed the sessions and was always happy to attend. The Merit Prizes were a great bonus and helped keep children on track......
  • I am very pleased with the level of individual attention given. Nothing was too much and lots of support and advice was given.
